About Your Skin
As children we have smooth, soft, tight skin. As the years pass, the tone and elasticity of skin becomes reduced. As a result, the skin of the forehead, eyebrows, eyelids (in fact all facial skin) becomes slack. This gives the appearance of "bags", excess, puffy or lax skin that can make us look more tired or older than we are. Wrinkles become more evident especially in the form of "crow's feet" in the temple area.
Surgery of any type creates inflammation in the skin and deeper tissues. This is unavoidable.
What About Healing?
Post-operatively patients will experience mild bruising and swelling which is usually gone in 7 to 10 days. They use ointment or drops for the same period. Pain is very minimal .. most patients use only plain Tylenol.
